Adult Substance Use Outpatient Services

Adult AOD Outpatient Services
The Adult Outpatient program philosophy and goal is to provide accessible and respectful, evidenced-based practices (EBP) treatment services to assist clients with improving their quality of life.

Individualized treatment services are driven by Stages of Change and use modalities from Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. The Adult Outpatient Program provides individual counseling, case management and the following groups:
  • Contemplation - This group is for men and women who would benefit from exploring the extent of their problems related to substance use.
  • Addiction Relapse Prevention (ARP) - A group for men who are abstinent and actively working on their recovery.  It utilizes relapse prevention curriculum from the Matrix Model.
  • Moving Forward - An integrated treatment group for men with substance use disorders who have experienced trauma.  The goal of the group is to increase healthy coping strategies related to the impact of trauma and substance use and does not focus on the trauma itself.   The evidence-based curriculum, Seeking Safety, is utilized in the group.
